Summit Dynamics provides application design, troubleshooting services, and spare/replacement parts for Republic Manufacturing Centrifugal Blowers
General Characteristics of Centrifugal Blowers
Centrifugal blowers generate greater flow, at generally higher pressures, than regenerative blowers. These blowers consist of an impeller / bearing assembly, motor, pulley and belt, and a frame to mount the components. The same blower impeller / bearing can be combined with different motors and pulleys to produce the correct air flow / pressure combination for the application.
Republic centrifugal blowers are serviceable in the field. All parts are replaceable and can be ordered. Frames and impeller units are also available to use with existing motors.
Centrifugal blowers are sized for a specific application. Centrifugal blower pressure and flow specifications are provided to ensure a safe range of operation. Unlike regenerative blowers, centrifugal blowers need to be sized to the application (have the correct air restriction and resulting pressure) or risk over heating the bearing assembly and/or motor.
Centrifugal Blower Range of Operation
Flow: 0 to 3500 cfm (pressure) / 4000 acfm (vacuum)
Pressure: 10″ H2O to 160″ H2O
Vacuum: 5″ H2O to 100″ H2O
